Description
This Musa is origin from Japan and belongs to the family of the musaceae.
The Basjo is a hardy plant but it is better to cover the pants during the winter.
The plant above the ground dies during the frost period. The rhizomes start growing again during the spring.
After a few years this plant can be four meters high.
It’s only flowering when the temperature will be not colder then two degrees. The purple flowers are small en you can’t eat the fruit.Care
Plenty of light until semi shade.
Temperature from -5 degrees until 25 degrees.
Cover during the winter.
Water regular.
Ferilize once every two weeks until July.
