The cultivation starts by potting several cuttings around a moss pole. These cuttings are produced in our nursery. The moss poles are made of fibres of coconuts that are spread around a plastic tube. We use moss poles with lengths between 80 and 150 centimetres.
During growth, the cuttings are attached to the moss pole using iron wire or metal cramps. By leading the cuttings around the moss pole equallly, a good-looking plant is the result. The plants are also able to attach themselves to the moss pole by using their roots.
Musa, Alocasia, Cyclamen and all our seasonal products are already rooted when we get them as a young plant from our young plant suppliers. We can pot them directly. During the cultivation they put the plants several times more widely to get the ultimate plants.
